Betty R. Simpson, 82, of Sandusky, passed away on Thursday, December 7, 2017 in Providence Care Center, Sandusky, after an illness.
She was born on November 19, 1935 in Georgia to the late John and Emma (Jenkins) Hamilton.
Betty is survived by her loving sons, Vaughn Hamilton, of Sandusky, and Jerome (Marinette) Hamilton, of Columbus, OH; and extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Raymond Simpson.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 14 until time of funeral services at 11 a.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Curtis L. Johnson, Jr. will officiate and entombment will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
