Charles Vaughn Jr., 87, Sandusky, died Wednesday evening, December 13, 2017, at his residence.
He was born in Detroit, MI on September 20, 1930, and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Charles worked at NASA in Sandusky, as an engineer, for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia (Bly) Vaughn, being together for 37 years married for 19 years; step children, Dennis (Emily) Meyer, Heather (Matt) Wilken, and Michelle Meyer; grandchildren, Alex (Corin) Wilken, Amber Wilken, Annabelle Wilken, Zane Meyer, Dennis Meyer Jr., and Samuel Meyer; nieces, Sandy (Greg) Brown and Cathy (mark) Horvath; great-nephews Jason Brown, and Mathew (Caitlen) Horvath; great-great-nephew, Ryan Horvath.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Helen (Biro) Vaughn Sr.; sister, Jeannie Vaughn; great niece, Katie Roy.
A graveside service for the family will be held in Cadillac Memorial Gardens West, Westland, MI. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is handling the arrangements.
