Jeanne Paula (Carroll) Neff, 91, residing in Sandusky, passed away peacefully Saturday afternoon, December 30, 2017 at Providence Care Centers.
Jeanne was born on September 16, 1926 in Sandusky, OH to the late Charles and Paula (Dubois) Carroll.
Jeanne graduated from The Ohio State University with a Bachelors Degree in social work. She was a Campfire Girls Director, social worker for the Rehabilitation Services Commission, formerly the BVR, probation counselor for juvenile court, child welfare counselor, social worker for Providence Hospital, and a children's daycare center administrator. Jeanne also volunteered at Serving Our Seniors, the Sandusky State Theatre and the Grace Church Thrift Shop for over 25 years.
Jeanne is survived by her children, Linda (Mike) Cox, Garry (Sandy) Neff and Marcie (Chuck) Bartolotta; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, John (MaryLue) Carroll; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Jeanne is preceded in death by her sister, Margaret Carroll and her beloved cat, Corky.
Friends may call on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from 3:30 pm until the time of funeral services at 4:30 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky with Fr. John Missler presiding.
