Austin C. Kromer, 29, residing in Chattanooga, TN and formerly of Sandusky, passed away Thursday, January 4, 2018 at his home following complications related to an epileptic seizure.
Austin was born November 23, 1988 in Sandusky, OH to David L. Kromer and Julie P. (Pascoe) Jones.
Austin was a 2007 graduate from Margaretta High School and received his Bachelor of Science Degree from The College of Electrical Engineering from the University of Toledo in 2012. Austin was a Brother of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity. He was employed as a PLC Programmer at the Tennessee Rand Company. Austin was a devote member of the Rock Bridge Community Church in Ringgold, GA. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed mountain biking, kayaking, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.
Austin is survived by his mother and step-father, Julie P. (Doug) Jones of Sandusky, OH; maternal grandfather, Charles (Pearl) Pascoe of Sandusky, OH and maternal grandmother, Caroline Pascoe of Sarasota, FL.
In addition to his father, David Kromer, Austin is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Leo and Phyllis Kromer.
Friends may call on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Groff Funeral Home & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky.
