Charles H. Singer, Sr., 81, of Sandusky, passed away on Sunday, January 28, 2018 in Firelands Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
He was born on March 10, 1936 in Hubbard, OH. He attended Hubbard High School, finishing his education in Sandusky. He retired from the City of Sandusky, Oakland Cemetery.
He loved traveling and camping, fishing, football, and spending time with his family.
Charles is survived by his children, Chuck Singer, Jr., Teresa (Joe) Belinge, Annette Sartor, and Pam (Fred) Vizi; many grand- and great-grandchildren; siblings, Larry (Peg), Don (Lee), and Thelma; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rita (Stookey) Singer; mother, Marguerite (Singer) Traxler; grandparents who raised him, "Grandma and Grandpa Singer"; daughter, Victoria Sears; and brothers, George and Lloyd.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. on Friday, February 2 until time of funeral services at 1 p.m. in Father's Heart Family Church, 1814 Milan Rd., Sandusky. Pastor Tony Robinson will officiate, and burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
