Bill Barnett, 65, of Monroeville, Ohio, stepped into the arms of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Tuesday, February 6, 2018.
He was born November 3, 1952 in Shelby, Ohio, to the late Fred and Della (Brown) Barnett.
Bill lived in North Fairfield and Monroeville most of his life. He served his country in the United States Marine Corps, and Ohio National Guard. Bill was a member of the Marine Corps League. He was employed for 30 years at Armstrong Air of Bellevue, Ohio. Bill also worked at Shearer Equipment in Monroeville, Ohio. He was very passionate about his faith and family. Bill enjoyed studying "The Word", being outdoors, going to flea markets, and being "Mr. Fix It" to anyone who needed help.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Susan (Lynch) Barnett, by his sons, Patrick Barnett of Vista, California, and Jarrod Barnett of Norwalk, Ohio, by his daughter, Sara (Will) Rutherford of Norwalk, Ohio, and by his grandchildren, Zachary Birmelin, Marissa and Brayden Rutherford, and Brieanna and Sage Barnett.
The wonderful patriarch of our family wished to have only a private celebration of his life, which will be held at a later date.
