Delores Jean Price, 80, of Castalia, Ohio, went to be with the Lord and her family who have gone before her, surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, March 1, 2018.
She was born on June 22, 1937 in Everett, PA.
Delores was the daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson Guyton and Helene Geneva (Lane) Guyton Lingenfelter, of Bedford County, PA.
On December 10,1953, she married Charles E. Price, in Bedford, PA., and he preceded her in death on February 21, 2014 ending a union of 60 years. She was predeceased by her son, Charles "Jack" F. Price Sr., and her granddaughter Kailey N. Ringholz. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Woodrow W. Guyton and Marvin R. Guyton, and her sister, Bonnie Guyton Harold.
Delores is survived by her loving companion, Erwin "Bud" Pitcher, by her sons, Bryan L. Price and wife Patty, of Vermillion, OH, and Charles F. Price, Jr. and wife Kelly, of San Antonio, TX., and by her daughter Leslie Price Norman, and husband Andy, of Sophia, NC. , and by her sister, Genevieve Guyton Taylor, Jacksonville, FL., and a very special niece, Tracy Dunham of Norwalk, OH.
She leaves behind a large and loving legacy of 9 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, and also many friends.
Dee loved to cook and create beautiful things with her hands. It is with much love and gratitude that we say goodbye to a woman who we as a family were lucky to have as part of our lives and she will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Delores was a member of Church of the Master in Steuben, OH and recently was attending First Faith Community Church in Sandusky, OH.
Friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. Rev. Dan Caudill will officiate. Interment will be held at Steuben Cemetery, 2643 OH-162, Monroeville, OH 44847.
