Emma Gay (Endicott) Fitch, 84, residing in Sandusky, passed away peacefully Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Parkvue Health Care Center.
Emma was born on August 10, 1933 in Louisa, KY to the late Floyd and Rebecca (Hammons) Endicott.
Emma was employed at Woolworth's for several years, and worked as a private seamstress who enjoyed making wedding dresses and doing private alterations. She also loved making and selling country crafts. Emma was a member of Sandhill Freewill Baptist Church in Sandusky. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking, and her greatest joy was sewing and crafting for all of her grandchildren..
Emma is survived by her sons, Gene (Reneé) Fitch of Clyde, OH, Curt (Ellen) Fitch of Collins, OH and Vernon (Kathy) Fitch of Monroeville, OH; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Jeremy) Framstad, Jeremy (Megan) Fitch, Rebecca (Dan) Lunde, Chad (Beckie) Fitch, Jessie Lee Fitch and Joey Fitch; five great-grandchildren; sister, Joyce (Darrel) Branham of FL; brother, Sonney (MaryLou) Endicott of Louisa, KY; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Emma is preceded in death by her husband, Virgle Fitch in 2009; sister, Coral Ann Hutchins; and four brothers, Bob, Lloyd, Jack and Jim Endicott.
Friends may call on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 11:00 am at Sandhill Freewill Baptist Church, 7703 W Mason Rd, Sandusky. Burial will follow in Sandhill Cemetery.
