John B. Weisflock, 56, Sandusky, died Saturday, March 3, 2018, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness.
He was born on March 31, 1961 in Wilmington, OH, to the late Robert and Pauline (Houser) Weisflock Sr. John attended Lynchburg Clay High School and after moving to Sandusky, graduated from Sandusky High School.
He was employed by Millott Moving Co. for 15 years, after graduating from Police Academy, the Sandusky and Perkins Police Department and retired from the Ohio Veterans Home in 2005. John also was partners in Greatway Enterprises.
He was a member of the FBI in Cleveland, and currently was President of the Sandusky Eagles #444.
John is survived by his significant other, Sharon Lippert; step daughter, Jessica Lippert, Sandusky; granddaughter, Kendra Hunter, Ohio University, Athens; nieces, Jessica Ladnow and Jenna Weisflock; nephews, Josh Weisflock and Joe Edwards.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Robert Weisflock Jr.; sister, Brenda Edwards; and a nephew, Jason.
Friends may call on Thursday, March 8, 2018, from 12 P.M. Noon until time of funeral services at 1 P.M. in Blanchester Church of Christ, 911 Cherry St., Blanchester, OH 45107. Rev. Paul Castell will officiate. Burial will follow in Troutwine Cemetery, Lynchburg, OH.
