Gary G. Deming, 71, residing in Huron, passed away peacefully early Tuesday morning, March 6, 2018 at his residence.
Gary was born on November 3, 1946 in Sandusky, OH to the late Kenneth Deming and Audrey (Kaufman) Deming-Lieb.
Gary was a 1964 Sandusky High School graduate. He had been employed with Coca Cola as a district manager for many years before retiring from the Cotton Club in Cleveland as a regional manager. Gary was a member of St. Stephen United Church of Christ. In his spare time, he enjoyed Sudoko, Lake Erie, coin collecting, being a Cleveland sports fan and spending time with his family and friends.
Gary is survived by his wife, Mary Jo (Manner) Napholz-Deming. He is also survived by his daughters, Kellie Deming of Newton Falls, OH; son, Kenneth (Heidi) Deming of Smyrna, DE; step children, Renae Napholz of Sandusky, Tiffani (David) Gottlieb of Columbus and Eric (Cheri) Napholz of North Canton, OH; nine grandchildren, Kyle, Evan, Mackenzie, Christian, Zachary, Trent, Zoey, Scarlett and Wyatt; sisters, Marla (Kenneth) Lowery of Castalia, Laurie (Tom) Rado of Bellevue and Sandi Crayton of Sandusky; brothers, Bill (Barb) Deming of Sandusky and Mark (Lisa) Deming of Columbus and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Gary is preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth and Terry Deming.
Friends may call on Thursday, March 8, 2018 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held on Friday in the funeral home at 11:00 am. Rev. Jerald Fenske will officiate.
