Kenneth E. Glasgow, 66, residing in Sandusky, passed away Saturday, March 10, 2018 at University Hospitals Cleveland following a brief illness.
Kenneth was born on April 27, 1951 in Akron, OH to the late Phillip Glasgow and Martha Hamilton.
Kenneth was a graduate of Kent State University. He was employed at Firstenergy for over 40 years as a lineman, troubleman, and instructor. Kenneth was a Veteran of the Army stationed in Nuremburg, Germany. He was a member of the American Legion Post #83 and a lifetime member of the Disabled American Vets. He enjoyed being active in school functions with his children, including school fundraisers. He was well known for his famous spaghetti sauce. Kenneth enjoyed detailing cars and spending time with his family.
Kenneth is survived by his wife, Patricia "Patti" (Laney) Glasgow. He is also survived by his daughters, Lori (Rik) Pelfrey of Crestline, OH and Heather Glasgow of Sandusky; sons, James Myers and Jonathan (Dawn) Myers both of Akron; grandchildren, Marta and Anna Glasgow and Jensen Myers; brother, Zeke (Candy) Glasgow of Jackson, OH; former spouse and friend, Eva Glasgow; Pospisil family in Nuremburg, Germany; his seven beloved puppies and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Richard and Barbara Laney.
Friends may call on Friday, March 16, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at 10:00 am. Reverend Sue Baggett-Spears will officiate.
