Bonnie Bing Wuertz

Bonnie Bing Wuertz, 77, of Sandusky passed away unexpectedly Thursday, February 1, 2018 while wintering in Lake Placid, Florida.

Bonnie was born September 26, 1940 in Sandusky and was a 1958 graduate of Sandusky High School.

She was employed for thirty-seven years at the Ohio Edison Company working twelve years in the Sandusky office and twenty-five years in the Port Clinton office. She retired in 1988. She was a member of Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Milan, the Huron Yacht Club, and the Sandusky Ski Club. Bonnie and her husband Dick loved to travel, spend time on the boat, and snow ski.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Richard "Dick" Wuertz; one brother, Paul (Ruth) Bing of Maple Heights, Ohio; one niece, Kathleen (John) Boughton of Akron, Ohio; two nephews, Andy (Gwen) Bing of Chagrin Falls, Ohio, and Chris (Clarissa) Bing of Springfield, Virginia; one brother-in-law, Larry Wuertz, three sisters-in-law, Sharon (Lonnie) McNichols, Beverly (Donnie) Fox, and Nancy (Steve) Molnar all of Castalia, their little puppy, Max 2; and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Margaret (Seitz) Bing.

At the request of the deceased cremation has taken place.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 17, 2018 from 1:00 PM until time of memorial service at 4:00 PM at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky. Rev. Richard Babcock will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Back to the Wild, P.O. Box 423, Castalia, Ohio 44824 or to the donor's favorite charity.
