Jeanne Marie (LeBlanc) Boissoneault Macko, 88, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday morning, March 15, 2018 at Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.
Jeanne was born on December 31, 1929 in Worcester, MA to the late Edmond and Corrine (Champagne) LeBlanc.
Jeanne was a 1948 graduate of Mary E. Wells High School in Southbridge, MA. She was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Sandusky Sailing Club and Sandusky Yacht Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and owning a florist shop, sewing, doing furniture repair, traveling, especially to Florida and spending time with family and friends.
Jeanne is survived by her husband, Emery Macko, whom she married on January 11, 2002. She is also survived by her daughters, Cindy (Harry) Montgomery of Sandusky and Linda (Mike) Graziani of Norwalk; sons, Bryan (Polly) Boissoneault of Painesville, OH and Harry "Hank" Jr. (Kelly) Boissoneault of Sandusky; ten grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; step-daughters, Shelly (Ken) Koelsch of Milan and Jody (Rick) Rollins of IN; five step-grandchildren; six step great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Jeanne is preceded in death by her first husband, Harry Boissoneault Sr; sister, Theresa Coderre and several brothers.
Friends may call on Sunday, March 18, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home at 9:30 am on Monday, March 19, 2018 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Father Matt Frisbee will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
