William D. Braddock, 68, passed away on Friday, March 16, 2018, in Twilight Gardens Nursing Home, Norwalk, Ohio.
He was born in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Edward D. and Gladys E. (Wilson) Braddock, on June 28, 194.
He worked many years in the auto industry, served his country in the United States Army during Viet Nam, was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, enjoyed western movies, scuba diving, and traveling to Tennessee to visit his children and grandchildren. Bill also enjoyed watching and supporting both the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Cincinnati Reds.
He spent the majority of his life in the Berlin Heights and Milan areas, and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
Bill is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Carolyn S. Braddock, of Norwalk, Ohio, by his children, Erik (Jennifer) Braddock, of Nashville, Tennessee, and Clint (Kelly Martin) Braddock, of Nashville, Tennessee, by his step children, Philip Lorcher, of Norwalk, Ohio, Scott (Phoenix) Lorcher, and Derek (Wendy) Lorcher, both of Las Vegas, Nevada.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Logan, James, and Dixie, by his step grandchildren, Savannah, Trenton, Mazie, Benson, and Zoe, by his siblings, Curt (Trish) Braddock, of Nashville, Tennessee, Bruce (Patricia) Braddock, of Milan, Ohio, Barbara Braddock, of Horseheads, New York, and Matthew Braddock, of Port Clinton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his step sister Sandra Olsen.
Services will be private.
