Lawrence E. "Bundy" Ross, Sr., 88, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his home, surrounded by family.
Larry was born in Shaker Heights, Ohio on January 29, 1930, to the late Arthur W. and Bess (Sharen) Ross.
Larry served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked at Maxie Tire, in Norwalk, Ohio for 39 years, retiring in 1993. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going fishing, flea markets, traveling to Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, going to the casinos, making wood crafts, and spending time in Amish country.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Norma J. (Hammersmith) Ross, sons, Arthur E. (Molly) Ross, of Norwalk, Ohio, Anthony (Wendy) Ross, of Huron, Ohio, daughter, Andrea (Rick) James, of Logan, Ohio, by his granddaughters, Ashley Ross, of McLeansville, North Carolina, Kristine Ross, of Norwalk, and Tamara Oakley of Florida, by his grandsons, Cole and Clay James, of Logan, Ohio, Michael Oakley, and Shawn Oakley, all of Florida. Extended family, daughters, Debbie Wobser, of Norwalk, Ohio, Gail Bales, of Colorado, Lawrence E. Ross, Jr. of Norwalk, Ohio, Thomas Ross, of Norwalk, Ohio, and numerous other grandchildren.
Larry is also survived by his sisters, Louise Allen, of Norwalk, Ohio, Pat (Mike) Cambra, of Norwalk, Ohio, Dorothy (Harold) Goodsite, of Sweetwater, Tennessee, by his brother, Jerry (Jean) Ross, of Collins, Ohio, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Larry was preceded in death by his siblings, William A. Ross, Mary Jo April, Betty Estep, and Kathleen Burley.
Friends may call on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, in St. Paul Catholic Church, 91 E. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio, at 2:00 p.m., Msgr. Kenneth Morman will officiate. Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery.
