Jessica E. Dancison-Dauch, 37, residing in Huron, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at her residence.
Jessica was born on April 14, 1981 in Sandusky, OH to William M. and Jeanette (Samples) Porter Sr.
Jessica was a 1999 graduate from Edison High School, where she was a member of the marching band. She was a member of Faith Memorial Church and Erie County 4-H. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing softball, horseback riding and competing, reading and spending time with her family and friends, especially her pride and joy, her daughter, Grace Olivia.
Jessica is survived by her husband, John Paul Dancison-Dauch; daughter, Grace Olivia; father and step-mother, William (Deborah) Porter of Berlin Heights; sisters, Lisa (Greg) Hall of Clyde, Nichole (Keith) McClellan of Daytona Beach, FL, Tricia (Tyrone) Pickens of Sandusky and Amanda Sue (Cory) Ateniese of Huntsville, AL; brothers, William (Michelle) Porter Jr. of Huron and Gideon James Porter of Berlin Heights; maternal grandmother, Jean Samples of Norwalk and paternal grandmother, Helena M. Aldridge of Huron and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Jessica is preceded in death by her mother, Jeannette (Samples) Porter; maternal grandfather, Buddy Gale Samples and paternal grandfather, Isaac E. Aldridge Sr.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 11:00 am until the time of funeral services at 1:30 pm at Faith Memorial Church, 1320 E. Strub Rd., Sandusky. Rev. Ken Hiser will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
