Richard T. Reinbolt Sr.

Richard T. Reinbolt Sr., age 79, residing in Milan, OH peacefully passed away at his home, Thursday morning, May 3, 2018 to be with the Lord.

He was born on April 19, 1939 in Fremont, OH to the late George and Marcella (Schneider) Reinbolt.

Richard graduated from Fremont St. Joe High School in 1957. He enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served his country for five years. Dick retired from the Ford Motor Company after 37 years of service, and had also been a Volunteer Firefighter for the Village of Milan. He was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church.

Richard met the love of his life, Rose (Gfell) and were married for 55 beautiful years and had four children. Faith and family meant the world to Richard.
Richard loved hosting family cookouts, watching his grandchildren play sports, fishing, being outdoors, his church, community and having his annual 4th of July party.

He is survived by his wife, Rose of Milan; his children, Annette (Mark) Stoll, Lisa (Dan) Blatnik, Richard Jr. (LeeAnn) Reinbolt and Cheryl (Jeff) Smathers; Nine grandchildren, Kim (Craig) Caprara, Joe ( fiancée Courtney) Stoll, Kyle (fiancée Meredith) Cory, Nathan and Gretchen Reinbolt, Olivia, Deana, Danielle and Luke Blatnik; three great-grandchildren, Sydney, Sadie and Stella Caprara; four brothers, Donald, David, Dennis and Steven and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Including his parents, Richard is preceded in death by his sister, Anita Reinbolt.

Friends may call on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 4 to 7 P.M. in the Groff Funeral Home 1 S. Main St. Milan. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Tuesday, May 8th at 10 A.M. followed by a 10:30 A.M. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, 145 S. Center St. Milan. The Rev. Gilbert Mascarenhas will officiate. Burial will follow in St. Anthony's Cemetery, Milan.
