Wilma L. Reynolds, 90, Sandusky, was called to her eternal home May 4, 2018, she passed peacefully into the arms of Jesus following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's.
She was born on May 19, 1927 to the late Emmett R. and Mary "Fred" (Cobb) Earley in Kingsport, TN.
Wilma was an employee of New Departure and retired after 33years of service. She was known for her great work ethic. She was a member of the Sandusky Church of the Nazarene, where she greatly enjoyed Bible study. One of her favorite things to do was cook; she was always trying to feed people. She was a very loving, caring, nurturing and compassionate lady who never had a mean thing to say about anyone. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her, daughters, Deborah (Mike) Lane of Castalia, and Karen Sherman of Sandusky; grandchildren, Michael (Tara) Lane Jr., Joshua (Olivia) Lane and Sarah (the late SFC Charles) Adkins; great-grandchildren, Karli, Collin, Caleb, Jordan, Abbe, Mike, Brenna, Garrhett, Makayla, Mackenzie, Gabriella, Gavin, Sophia, and Piper; great-great-grandchildren, Jaelyn and Skylynne; two sisters, Shirley (Herbert) Dolen and Harriet Chapman; many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett R. and Mary "Fred" (Cobb) Earley; her great grandson, Joseph; two sisters, Marie Townsend and Linda Flanagan; brother, Kenneth Earley; and her companion of 28 years, Ralph Lane Jr.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 10am - 12pm with funeral services following at 12pm at Toft Funeral Home and Crematory, Sandusky, Ohio 44870. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
