Lois Ann Schwerer

Lois Ann Schwerer, 87, residing in Sandusky, passed away Friday afternoon, May 11, 2018 at Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.

Lois was born on June 14, 1930 in Sandusky, OH to the late Earl and Marguerite (Brown) Mischler.

Lois was a 1948 graduate of St. Mary's High School in Sandusky where she enjoyed being a cheerleader. She worked as a nursing supervisor at Providence Hospital for 46 years. Lois was very social and enjoyed attending public events, and was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sandusky, Central Catholic Athletic Boosters, Sandusky Elks, Knights of Columbus, AMVETS, and the American Legion. She was an avid sports fan, and especially enjoyed watching her family's sporting events, Cleveland sports teams, and St. Mary's athletics. She was a skilled cook, loved tending to her large family garden, had a wonderful time playing cards with her nursing friends "The Queens" and their spouses, and enjoyed her time by the water watching sunsets. Lois' greatest joy was making wonderful memories with her family.
