James Michael Anthony

James Michael Anthony, 84, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 20, 2018 at his residence following a lengthy illness.

He was born April 13, 1934 and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict.

James was an avid flea marketer. He also enjoyed auctions, fishing, hunting, bowling, golfing, and auto racing.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Harriette "Skip" Anthony; four children, Lois A. (Roger) Binette of Sandusky, Susan (Bobby) Ezell of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Patricia (Dale) Clift of Moore, South Carolina, Michael (Lori) Anthony of Sandusky; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; one brother Andrew Anthony; one sister, Magdalene (James) Tindill; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents Taft and Marie Anthony; one brother, Rollyn "Bill" McMahan; four sisters, Miriam Alexander, Katherine Meeker, Mary Jean Newton, and Liberty Black; and other beloved relatives.

Friends may call on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM in the Eagles Nest Church International, 2126 Pipe Street, Sandusky, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 23, 2018. Pastor Tony Robinson will officiate.

Pfeil Funeral Home, Sandusky Chapel, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky is assisting the family with arrangements.
