Antonio "Tony" M. Delph 57, Sandusky, departed this life on Tuesday May 29th, 2018 in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
Born November 11, 1960 in Washington D.C. to Thomasine B. Delph and Benny Lee McNeill, Tony relocated to Sandusky with his mother at age 7 where she raised him with James B. Williams.
Tony is a 1979 Perkins High School graduate; where he was on the football team, the wrestling team and track team throwing shot put. After graduation he moved to Boston, Massachusetts where his first child Lauren Hunter was born.
Tony loved to help others; in the presence of others, he was truly the life of inspiration; no matter if you needed a laugh, someone to listen to, or a helping hand. Tony had many passions with computer science being one. He pursued that passion at Roxbury Community College in Boston, Massachusetts. Tony discovered his greatest passion was Culinary Arts. His love for this field allowed him to work in various restaurants in Boston and Sandusky.
Tony, too, was an avid sports fan. Two of his die-hard teams were the Washington Redskins and Michigan Wolverines.
These teams caused many family rivalries when they were on the field. Now, those rivalries will be memories for us to cherish. Tony also loved to play Madden football, collect Marvel comics and talk politics.
He leaves to celebrate his life, his beloved wife of 12 years, Michele; daughters, Lauren (Lorne) Dyson of Avon, Massachusetts and Jada Delph of Sandusky. Sons, Jonathan and Joshua both of Sandusky; Grandchildren, Aydrienne, Nasir, Ezra and Zora all of Avon, Massachusetts; Parents, Thomasine and James B.
