Amibell L. Kovacs, 84, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away June 4, 2018, in Norwalk Memorial Home.
She was born December 25, 1933 in Norwalk, Ohio, to the late Carl and Leona (Peck) Potter, and was a lifelong area resident.
Amibell was a member of the last class to graduate from Wakeman High School, and was a member of the Wakeman Congregational Church. She was a former employee of the Graves Implement Company, and retired with 35 years of service from Key Bank (formerly Wakeman Bank Co.). Amibell was a 50 year member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, golf, traveling, line and square dancing, yardwork, and flower gardening.
Amibell is survived by her daughter and son in law, Susan and Mark Finnegan of Wakeman, Ohio, by her grandsons, Nicholas Leto, and Dylan (Jordan) Leto, both of Norwalk, Ohio, by 6 great grandchildren, one great great grandson, and by her great grand dog.
She is also survived by her sister, Bertine (Jerry) Eaton of Norwalk, Ohio.
Amibell was preceded in death by her husband, Louis A. Kovacs in 1996, and by her brothers, Jack and Carl Potter.
There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be private in St. Mary Cemetery, Wakeman, Ohio.
