Robert E. Heal, 69 of Bellevue passed away Tuesday, Sep. 20, 2011 at his residence. He was born Oct 5, 1941 in Bellevue the son of the late Robert J. & Alice (Perry) Heal.
Bob retired from Norfolk Southern Railroad in 2001 and operated Heal's Livestock. He Graduated fro York High School in 1960.
He was a member of St Gaspar del Bufalo Catholic Church, the National Pigeon Association and enjoyed raising pigeons and spending time in the woods cutting firewood.
He married Karen (Greulich) Heal Jan. 13, 1968 at Immaculate Conception Church and she survives.
Other survivors include his children, Steve (Tammy) Heal of Attica, Cindy (Todd) Andrews of Bellevue, Joe (Elissa) Heal of Bellevue, grandchildren, Taylor & Corey Andrews and Bre & Elijah Heal, Brothers Bill (Cathy) Heal of Bellevue and Tom Heal of Texas. His parents preceded him in death.
Friends will be received Thursday evening from 7 - 9 pm at St. Michael's Hall, 16209 E CR 46, Bellevue.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, Sep. 22, 2011 at 5:30 pm in St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, 16209 E. CR 46, Bellevue. Burial will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery. Immediately following burial rites everyone is invited to St. Gaspar's parish hall for desserts and refreshments.
