Debra A. (Hamlin) Smith, 52, Sandusky, died on Wednesday, September 21, 2011, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born on December 12, 1958 in Sandusky, OH.
Debra loved painting, puzzles, reading, fishing, and was an avid horseback-rider.
She is survived by her father, James Hamlin, Sr., Sandusky; sons, Derek Swain and Nathanial Swain, both of Tennessee; nine grandchildren; sisters, Chris McBee, Terri Lynn Malone, Brenda Borden and Valerie Heil, all of Sandusky; brother, James Hamlin, Jr., Sandusky; longtime partner, Jeffrey Smith; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patty (Sowards) Clemens; son, Kenneth Swain, Jr; and brother, Vincent Hamlin.
Friends may call on Tuesday, September 27, 2011, from 6-9 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 A.M. in the funeral home with the Rev. Wally Gilbert officiating. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
