Larry Graves, 72, Sandusky, passed away, Tuesday, July 24, 2018, in Firelands Regional Medical Center, after a brief illness.
Larry was born on June 9, 1946 in Sandusky, the youngest son of the late Fulton and Clara (Bryant) Graves, and was a 1964 graduate of Sandusky High School, where he excelled in basketball, band, and track.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, deciphering the Morse Data Code.
Larry loved watching TV, the Texas Lone Ranger and gospel channels, and going on his daily walk to Cliffs Carryout to get his favorite beverage, Pepsi.
He is survived by his sisters, Margery Graves Anderson, Lois Graves Belle, and Janet Graves McDaniels; numerous, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Barbra Graves and Joyce Graves Hill; brothers, Fulton Graves, Donald Graves, Richard Graves, and David Graves.
Friends may call on Friday, August 3, 2018, from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Agape Love Ministries, 4013 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Barbara Huston will officiate and Pastor Sheila Graves will provide the eulogy. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, where the American Legion Post 83 Color Guard will conduct military honors.
