Luther Dale Coad, 71, residing in Huron, passed away Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Vista Care Center of Milan after a lengthy illness.
Dale was born on November 20, 1946 in Cambridge, OH to the late Carl and Esther (Barthen) Coad.
Dale received his bachelor degree in engineering from Case tech in Cleveland. He owned and operated Coad Controls Inc. in Sandusky, where they engineered control panels for manufacturing companies. Dale attended St. John's Lutheran Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed his work, taking vacations to Europe and spending time with his family and friends.
Dale is survived by his wife, Inge (Schultz) Coad, whom he married in December of 1982. He is also survived by his daughter, Tanja (Michael) Cogan of Tampa, FL; grandchildren, Alex, Thomas and Brooke Cogan; brother, Bruce (Sharon) Coad of Dallas, TX and many other relatives.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
