Sir Edward A. Sharp, K.T., 45, of Sandusky passed away early Saturday morning, August 11, 2018 in the Continuing Healthcare of Milan following a lengthy illness.

He was born August 25, 1972 in Sandusky and was employed as a machinist for M.H. Howard and Son. Prior to this, Ed had worked at Latanic in Huron. He was also part owner of True Innovations on Monroe Street in Sandusky.
He was a member of Perseverance Lodge No. 329, F.&A.M., Sandusky City Chapter No. 72, R.A.M., Sandusky City Council No. 26, M.&S.M., Erie Commandery No. 23, K.T., American Motorcycle Association, and the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by two sons, Cameran and Kooper Sharp, both of Warren, Ohio; his parents, Norman E. and Sue (Burrows) Sharp of Sandusky; one brother, Norman C. (Miranda) Sharp; one nephew, Byron Sharp; and one niece, Maylynn Sharp, all of Urbana, Ohio; one aunt, Carol (Cliff) Everlith of Ashland, Ohio; a special cousin, David Barnes of Avon, Ohio; and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents and four aunts.

A Celebration of Ed's Life will start with a light luncheon in the upstairs of the Sandusky Masonic Temple, 315 Wayne Street, Sandusky, Ohio 44870 at 5:00 PM, Monday, August 20, 2018. Everyone is invited to come and share their stories, memories, and enjoy fellowship at this time. Perseverance Lodge No. 329 will hold a memorial service at 7:00 PM in the Temple with the Knights Templar memorial service following.

Ed received devoted care from the awesome staff at Continuing Healthcare of Milan. He was very fond of the nurses and enjoyed their friendship, companionship, and special attention. He met many special people over the past five months.

We would also like to thank the staff of Stein Hospice for their compassionate care the past few weeks.

A very special thank you to each of "Ed's special friends" who have stood by him, visited him, and sustained him with their visits and prayers.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Sandusky Masonic Temple Memorial Fund.
