Alice E. (Fachman) Wright, 86, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Providence Care Centers after a brief illness.
Alice was born on February 8, 1932 in Port Clinton, OH to the late LeRoy F. and Veronica R. (LeJune) Fachman.
Alice graduated from Port Clinton High School. She worked as an office manager at Great Lakes Tires and retired after many years of service. Alice was a past member St. Mary's Catholic Church, and a life member of the American Legion Post 83, AMVETS Post 17, and V.F.W. Post 2529 auxiliaries.
Alice is survived by her son, Larry R. Wight of Sandusky and Claudia Balduff of Monroeville; grandson, Dustin C. Wright and Dianna Swartz, both of Sandusky; and two nieces.
In addition to her parents, Alice is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Wright in 2008; sister, Shirley (John) Flannagan; and one nephew.
Friends may call on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at 11:00 am with Deacon Jeff Claar presiding. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron, OH.
