Avis Mullins, 68, Vickery, died Thursday, August 23, 2018, at his residence, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Clintwood, VA on November 16, 1949. Avis loved collecting toys, and tinkering with motorized bikes.
Avis is survived by his wife, Janet Mullins, son, Brian (Rebecca) Mullins; daughter, Michelle Ryerson; grandson, Derek Mullins; granddaughter, Makayla (Justin) Fraser; great-grandchildren, Graham and Ella Fraser; sisters, Phyllis Likes, Lilly Stark, and Linda Wingrove; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Newton and Cleo Mullins Sr.; sister, Patricia (Bob) Rowlette; brothers, Newton Mullins Jr. and Billy Ray Mullins.
Friends may call on Sunday, August 26, 2018, from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 A.M. in Wayside Temple, 3809 Maple Ave., Castalia. Rev. Rusty Yost will officiate. Burial will follow in Perkins cemetery.
