William A. Peabody, 63, residing in Sandusky, passed away Tuesday afternoon, August 28, 2018 at University Hospitals after a brief illness.
Bill was born on January 19, 1955 in Elyria, OH to the late William Peabody and Genevieve (Jacobs) Bober.
Bill was a certified master plumber, owning and operating All Service Mechanical for many years. He enjoyed socializing, traveling, cooking, fishing and spending time with his grandkids, and puppies, Babe and Bella. Bill never met a stranger; he had a big heart and was always willing to help anyone.
Bill is survived by his wife, Teresa (Rogers) Peabody, whom he married on July 2, 1982. He is also survived by his son, William "Billy" J. Peabody of Sandusky; grandchildren, Alyssa, Johnathon, Taylor, Taylynn, Jana Lee and Neveah; sisters, Peggy Gale of Plymouth, OH and JoAnne Merriman of Charlotte, NC; sister-in-law, Rose Gale of Bellevue and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by daughter, DeAnna M. Peabody; brother, Michael Gale; infant sister; first wife, Mary "Kathy" (Walker) Peabody and step-father, Tony Bober.
Friends may call on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 12:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Pastors Carl and Joe Woodyard of Mount Harvest Church of God will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
