Doris F. Bickley, 91 of Mentor passed away August 30, 2018 at the David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland, OH.
She was born April 1, 1927 in Ann Arbor, MI to the late Frank and Margaret (Willer) Bechberger.
Doris graduated from Clyde High School, Clyde, OH in 1945. She retired from TRW/Argo Tech where she worked for many decades. Doris enjoyed square dancing, camping, and traveling. She enjoyed spending her winters in Bonita Springs, FL.
She married Howard Bickley on Dec 16, 1950.
She is survived by her son, Frank Bickley of Mentor; daughter, Judith (David McIntyre) Bickley of Ashtabula; sister, Alice Jeannette and brothers, Dale Schwochow and Galen Schwochow.
In addition to her parents, Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Howard Bickley; sisters, Donna Sandler and Lu Spanfellner and brothers, Larry Schwochow and Robert Schwochow.
Funeral services will be held at Advent Lutheran Church, 7985 Munson Road, Mentor, OH on Friday, September 14 at 11:00 am. Pastor Steve Bond will officiate. A graveside service will be held at Meadow Green Memorial Park, 2602 Bogart Rd, Huron, OH on Saturday, September 15 at 11:00 am. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
