Christopher A. O'Dell, 36, passed away in his home on Tuesday, September 18, 2018.
He was born on August 8, 1982, in Norwalk, Ohio, he attended Edison High School, and was a lifelong area resident.
Chris was a mason worker and was previously employed by Curtis Swain, in Castalia, Ohio, and most recently, employed by Oglesby, Construction, Inc, Norwalk, Ohio, for the past 6 years.
He enjoyed working out, physical fitness, music, animals, including his cats and fish, he collected antiques, paintings, and other eclectic finds. Chris also enjoyed camping, 4-wheeling, fishing, Captain Crunch cereal, and he really loved to be around children, and they loved being around him.
He was always the "life of the party", he had the best smile, a tender heart, and a really great laugh. What he loved most of all, was spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Lyle D. and Ana M. (Guaderrama) O'Dell, of Milan, Ohio, by his brother, Cory D. O'Dell, of Milan, Ohio, by his niece and nephews, Maddison, Preston and Azlyn O'Dell, and by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Christopher was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lyle F. and Lois A. O'Dell, and Luis and Ofelia S. Guaderrama, by his uncles, Lance R. O'Dell, and Juan Pena, and by his aunt, Sandy Aquino.
Friends may call on Saturday, September 22, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. in Walker Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857. Pastor Rich Forman of the Norwalk Baptist Church will officiate.
Memorials may be made to the Huron County Humane Society, 246 Woodlawn Ave. Norwalk, Ohio, in support of Chris's love for animals.
