Donald A. "Butch" Norman

Donald A. “Butch” Norman age 69 of Bellevue passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, Oct. 2, 2011.  He was born in Flat Rock July 14, 1942 the son of the late Alfred Norman and Peggy (Heimbaugh) Crockett.

 

Butch retired from Armstrong Air Conditioning, and was the owner of Don Norman & Sons Construction.  He was a 1961 graduate of York High School and a US Navy veteran.  He was a member of Eagles Aerie #490, and VFW Post 1238.  Butch enjoyed woodworking, gardening and his dogs Gorda & Bo but enjoyed his grandchildren & great grandson most of all.

 

Donald married Elaine (Calhoun) Norman, Christmas day 1961 in Bellevue, she survives him in Bellevue.

 

In addition to his wife, other survivors include his sons, Daniel Norman & Tyson Norman both of Bellevue, daughters, Jennifer (Thomas) Regalado of Lambertville, MI, Angela Blair of Fremont, grandchildren, Danielle, Samantha, Anakah, Harleigh, Madison, Caden, Gabriel, Gavin, Lainey, great – grandson, Nolan, brother, Bill (Joanne) Norman of Bellevue, sister, June (Garth) Reitz of Bellevue, half – brothers, Tommy ( Vivienne) Crockett of Castalia, Gary Crockett of Bellevue, Johnny Crockett of Bellevue, Half – sisters, Debbie (Randy) Warner of Sandusky, Jean Aspaucher of Green Springs, Jane Hilt of Fremont, LaDawn (Rick)  Saxton of Lakewood and step-sister, Renale (Ron) Conlon of Severn, Maryland.  In addition to his parents, his grandmother, Cree Heimbaugh, sister, Darlene Timmons, uncle, Dick Heimbaugh and his step-sister, Trudy Ramey preceded him in death.

 

Friends will be received Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2011 from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 am.  Burial will follow at York Chapel Cemetery.
