David P. Yingling, 54, Sandusky, died Wednesday, October 10, 2018, in Stein Hospice Care Center, after a lengthy battle with Leukemia.
He was born in Sandusky on January 9, 1964 and was a 1982 graduate of Perkins High School.
After high school he served in the U.S. Marines and started working for the City of Sandusky Street Department in 1999.
He was a life member of the Amvets Post 17, Sandusky, active in the Perkins Band Boosters and the Pit Crew, loved traveling, flying and being an adventurous person.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Amy (Neumeyer) Yingling; son, Noah Yingling, Sandusky; mother, Betty Yingling, Sandusky; brothers, George (Sandy) Yingling, Castalia, Allen (Michelle) Yingling and Raymond Yingling, both of Madison, WI; nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, George B. Yingling.
There will be no visitation. Cremation will take place in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. A private Celebration of his life will be held.
