Gloria Dean Gilmer, 78, Sandusky, went home to be with the Lord, Saturday, October 8, 2011, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born on February 21, 1933 in Cannonsburg, PA.
Gloria leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Mack Gilmer Jr; step-mother, Gladys Stallings, Lathrop Village, MI; daughters, Charita Gilmer, Sandusky and Maliea (JAI) Pirtle, Columbus, OH; sons, Francis Wesley Alexander, Sandusky, and Jesse Jackson, Columbus, OH; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; brothers, William H. Stallings, Sandusky, Clifford (Glenda) Stallings, Donald (Joyce) Stallings, Leonard Stallings, David Stallings and Derrick Stallings, all of Lathrop Village, MI; sisters, Willa (Jerome) Canty, and Donna Stallings, both of Lathrop Village, MI, and Terry (Ronald) Blevins, Detroit, MI; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, William H. Stallings; mother, Marie (Johnson) Alexander; and step-father, Lloyd Alexander.
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 12, 2011, from 7-9 P.M. in the Agape Love Ministries, 4013 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 A.M. in the church with Bishop Clifton T. Jones Sr., officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
