Sandra K. (Hoffman) Ross, 77, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday afternoon, December 27, 2018 at Firelands Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
Sandra was born on November 19, 1941 in Sandusky, OH to the late Kenneth and Evelyn (Miller) Oswald.
Sandra graduated from Sandusky High School in 1959. She retired from Delphi in 1998 after 30 years of service. Sandra was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She loved her family and gave her time to help at the nursing home where her late mother resided. She enjoyed vacationing and her grandchildren.
Sandra is survived by her husband, Richard Ross, whom she married on May 5, 2005. She is also survived by her children, Lisa McPeek Twine, Jeffrey (Cindy) McPeek, Todd (Tamara) McPeek, Donna Hemmer and Bud Grooms; eight grandchildren, Chelsea, Jason, Gabriena, Mackenzie, Todd II, Taylor, Zach and Jacqueline; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Sandra is preceded in death by her husband, Donald McPeek in 2003; son, Craig Thomas Burris in 1964; granddaughter, Melanie Jensen; sister, Sharon Dehn and brother, Leland (Bussy) Hoffman.
Friends may call on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on January 3, 2019 at 11:00am. Her grandson-in-law, Austin Wurmb will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
