Melba M. Nardecchia, 93, Milan, died on Monday, October 10, 2011, in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born on July 5, 1918 in Fremont, Ohio.
She was a most loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Melba is survived by her loving husband of forty-one years, Alfred Nardecchia; children, Mary A. “Sue” Rakosky, Sandusky, and Raymond (Evelyn) Stiert, Milan; eight grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Urban and Golden (Chase) Horn; grandson, Mark, in 1961; granddaughter, Michelle, in 1989; sisters, Evelyn Welch and Rita Thomas; and brothers, Arthur Horn, Robert Horn, and Clifford Horn.
At the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation or services. Cremation will take place at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
