Craig Minney

Craig Minney, 65, passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019 at Cleveland Metro Health Hospital.

He was born to the late Forest D. And Madeline (Conrad) Minney on July 30, 1953 in Oberlin, Ohio.

He was raised in Kipton, Ohio and attended Firelands High School in Oberlin, Ohio, and later moved to Norwalk, Ohio. Craig was a journeyman tool and die maker and was employed by Tenneco, Inc., in Milan, Ohio for 27 years, retiring in 2003.

He enjoyed hunting, being outdoors, watching Gunsmoke, and was a previous member of the Berlin Heights Conservation Club, and the Isaac Walton League.

Craig had an amazing sense of humor, giving nicknames to his wife's friends. He also enjoyed going to his cabin (Possum Lodge).

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Tess (Mercado) Minney of Norwalk, Ohio, by his children, Justin C. Minney of Ft. Myers, Florida, Chad A. (Kristen) Minney of Senecaville, Ohio, and, Jonathan R. Minney (Kelsey Whittle) of Cambridge, Ohio, by his grandchildren, Hunter, Chevy, Kaylee, Kelsey, and Autumn Minney, by his sister, Shelly Reznick of Georgia, and by several nieces and nephews.

Craig is also survived by his extended family, Frank (Noi) Cleavenger, Kayleen Cleavenger, James (Mabel) Mull, and his family members in the Philippines.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Berry, Chris, and Rick Minney.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 19, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. in Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St. Norwalk, Ohio. Interment will be in Milan Cemetery.
