Pamela Agatha Nesgoda

It is with deepest regret to announce Pamela Agatha Nesgoda, a loving mother, devoted wife, and caring sister died on February 5th, 2019, in her Rockledge, Florida, home after more than a yearlong battle against cancer.

Pamela was born on June 10, 1952, in Staten Island, New York to parents Robert and Helen (Slowikowski) Marsh. She was the 13th of their 14 children.

Pamela is survived by her Husband, Thomas Nesgoda M.D. and her four daughters, Sandra Nesgoda (39), Danielle (Kevin) Hopkinson (35), Alexandria (Eric) Christian (30) and Samantha Nesgoda (engaged to Kurt Weber) (24). She was blessed with three grandchildren, Maxwell (7) and Lucas (5) Hopkinson and Grant Christian (3).

They built their homestead in Sandusky, Ohio in 1983, making it their home for more than 35 years.
Pamela was a devout Catholic. She had a strong value system and encouraged traditions centered around her religion.

Dedicated to structuring the formative years of her children with extracurricular activities that would enable them to be and do anything, Pam selflessly participated in her children's school functions and encouraged them to succeed.

Truly a devoted wife, Pam took an active role in Tom's life and career. Supporting his role as their community's emergency medical doctor, by serving as President for the Providence Hospital Medical Auxiliary, President of Erie County Medical Society Auxiliary, served on Firelands and Providence Hospital fundraisers, organized the Providence Hospital Charity Ball, helped with the American Red Cross Putt-Putt at Cedar Point, Firelands and Providence Hospital Christmas parties, helped his campaign for his role as Erie County Coroner and subsequently worked for his team of doctors and managed their practice, ER DOC INC., for over 30 years.

She and her husband, Tom had been avid golfers at Plum Brook Country Club (Sandusky, Ohio). She was best known for long drives and a carefree approach to the timeless game.

The families are going to celebrate Pamela Agatha Nesgoda's life with funerals in both of their residencies. The first will be at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Rockledge Florida 32955 on Friday, February 8th at 2 PM. A second mass will be held in Sandusky, Ohio at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky at 10 am on Wed, February 13, 2019. We will be holding a reception at 11:30 at Plum Brook Country Club.
