Johnie Miracle, 70, Sandusky, died on Thursday, October 20, 2011, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
He was born on February 7, 1941 in Knoxville, TN.
Johnie was a U.S. Army veteran, loved camping, traveling with his wife, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was also a good neighbor to all those around him.
He was employed by Ford Motor Company for 36 years.
He is survived by his children, Ada (Kevin) Jones, Norwalk, OH, Charles Lowery, Greer, S.C., Lee Lowery, Huron, OH, Frank Lowery Jr., Berlin Heights, OH, Jody (Charles) Wilson, Huron, OH, Johnny Lee (Lisa) Miracle, Paula (Terry) Hensley, and Thomas Ray (Robin) Miracle, all of Knoxville, TN, Johnna Marie (Sam) Mackie, New Knoxville, OH, Valentina Elaine (Robert) Balserak, Centerville, OH, William “B.J.” Jefferson Miracle, Minster, OH, and Matthew James (Misti) Miracle, Southside, AL; forty-four grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline Miracle, on April 25, 2006; parents; three grandchildren; and six brothers and sisters.
A memorial service and inurnment will be held on Tuesday, October 25, 2011, at 1 P.M. in the Meadow Green Memorial Park Chapel, 2602 Bogart Rd., Huron. Rev. Jamie Stewart, chaplain for Stein Hospice, will officiate. The American Legion Post 83 Honor Guard will provide military honors.
