Judith K. "Judi" Bressler, 73, of Sandusky, died Saturday, March 9, 2019 in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born on October 24, 1945 in Sandusky to Victor and Jean (Thom) Trautman.
Judi was a 1963 graduate of Sandusky High School. She enjoyed gardening, shopping, and spending time with her grandchildren. She attended church at The Chapel in Sandusky.
Judi was a manager at Lasalle's department store until her children were born. She was a stay-at-home mother until the boys were school age. She then returned to the workforce as a teacher's aide with Erie County for 20 years. In retirement, she enjoyed spending time with family, travelling, reading, Ohio State, and her dog, Alfie.
She is survived by her sons, David (Elizabeth), of Willow Springs, IL, and Steven, of Dublin, OH; grandchildren, Brynn and Braxton, of Willow Springs, IL; sister, Deborah (Rich) Carroll; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and additional relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband of 45 years, Michael.
A celebration of her life will be held on Thursday, March 14, 2019 at The Chapel, 4444 Galloway Rd., Sandusky. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a memorial service at noon. Pastor Dave Brown will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Judi's name to the Humane Society of Erie Co., 1911 Superior St., Sandusky.
