Karen "Lou" Moore, 60, Sandusky, passed away Monday, March 18, 2019, in Firelands Regional Medical Center with family by her side.
She was born on April 28, 1958 in Cleveland to John and Eloise Moore.
Karen enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, cooking, and completing puzzles. She gave her life to Christ in 2016.
She will be sadly missed by her sons, DeMar (LaToya) Moore, Rudy Moore (Mesha Johnson), both of Sandusky; sister, Linda (Jimmie) Cherry, Sandusky; brother, John Moore Jr., Port Clinton; grandchildren, De'Asia Moore-Swain, DeMar Moore, DeWade Moore, Elijah Hollingshed, and Tracy Charlton; one great-grandchild, Jaliyah Col'on, all of Sandusky; special friend, Artie Castile, Sandusky; and many nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Yuvette Charlton; and special aunt, Janice Nunn.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 26, 2019, at 1 P.M. in New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1920 Eddy Henry Way, Sandusky. Rev. Curtis L. Johnson Jr. will officiate. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is handling the arrangements.
