Robert A. Lieb, 90, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday afternoon, April 4, 2019 at Providence Care Centers after a brief illness.
Robert was born on May 1, 1928 in Sandusky, OH to the late Wilbert Lieb and Catherine (Harp) Klein.
Robert attended St. Mary's Catholic High School. He was a Veteran of the US Army. Robert was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, VFW #2529, American Legion Post 83, AMVETS and the Sandusky Eagles.
Robert is survived by his sister, Phyllis (Karl) Andres of Sandusky and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife, Mary C. Lieb; sons, David and Daniel Lieb; brothers, Eugene, Wilbur and Richard Lieb; step-brother, Jack N. Klein and step-father, Jack Klein.
Friends may call on Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 9:00 am until the time of the Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Father Jeff Walker will officiate. Burial will follow with military honors in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
