Donald B. Holtz, 88, residing in Huron, passed away Saturday morning, April 20, 2019 at Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.
Donald was born on January 21, 1931 in Cleveland, OH to the late Robert and Alyce (Swaney) Holtz.
Donald retired from Premier Industrial Corporation in Cleveland, where he worked in the production department for many years. He was a Veteran of the US Marines. Donald was a member of the NRA and the Huron Eagles. In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting and spending time with his family and friends.
Donald is survived by his wife of 64 years, Elaine (Mideo) Holtz, whom he married in April of 1955. He is also survived by his daughter, Laura "Alex" Holtz of Huron; son, Robert B. Holtz of Huron; grandchildren, Robbie and Jennifer; sister-in-law, Magaly Holtz and numerous other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Donald is preceded in death by his brother, John "Jack" Holtz.
Private family services will be held and conducted at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory Sandusky Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
