Rob Bess, 45, residing in Sandusky, died Friday afternoon, April 26, 2019 at home unexpectedly.
He was born on April 17, 1974 in Buffalo, NY to Ken and Ginny (Murray) Bess.
Rob was a 1992 Sandusky High School graduate and received his Bachelors of Criminal Justice from Baldwin Wallace in 1996. Rob attended the Sandusky Police Academy and served on the Sandusky Police Force for 17 years. Rob was currently working as the manger at Taco Bell.
Rob enjoyed, golfing, watching movies, having an extensive DVD collection, the Denver Bronco's and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Rob is survived by his children, Kylee Pelletier of Columbus, Meadow Bess, Brandon Bess, RJ Bess, Mia Bess and twins, Arya and Sloan Bess all of Sandusky; one sister, Brenna Kelley of Sandusky; one brother, Adam of Sandusky and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by both his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Friends may call on Thursday, May 2 from 4 -7 PM at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky.
Private family funeral services will be held.
