Undraye M. (May) Hunley, 69, Sandusky, departed this life on Sunday, June 16, 2019 in Providence Care Center surround by her family.
She was born June 16, 1950 in Shubuta, Mississippi to Charlie and Ruby Lee May. She was a graduate of Sandusky High School class of 1968.
Undraye was a longtime member of New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church under leadership of Pastor Emetrius Eddy N. Henry and Pastor Curtis L. Johnson Jr. She served on the Trustee Ministry and as Financial Secretary for many years, Usher Ministry, and Charity-Ette Ministry, and one of the organizers of the Eddy N. Henry Scholarship Fund. Undraye showed her love to those around her helping where she could.
Undraye was employed at Delphi as an office worker for many years retiring in 2000.
She had a great interest in bowling serving on leagues on Tuesday and couples on Sunday. Undraye loved traveling, shopping, sewing and spending time with her family and friends.
She leaves to cherish her life, her husband of 44 years Elijah Hunley: son, Brandon (Nysheika) Hunley of Indian Head, MD; Grandsons, Brian Hunley of Sandusky, and Bryson Hunley of Indian Head, MD; brothers, Rufus May of Sandusky; and Scott May of Bloomington, IN; and a host of nephews neices, and other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles May Sr., September 1, 2016; Ruby Lee May, March 15, 2015; daughter, Heather Hunley, August 13, 2014; brother, Charles May Jr. 2005.
Friends may call on Friday, June 21, 2019, from 6-8 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11 A.M. in New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1920 Eddie Henry Way, Sandusky. Rev. Curtis L. Johnson Jr. will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
