Jason "Hip" Hippely, 48, Sandusky. I died peacefully at Admiral's Pointe in Huron, surrounded by my loving family.
I was an avid bowler for almost 40 years, enjoying the social aspect as well as the competition. I never achieved my goal of a perfect 300 game, but bowling is a perfect game either way! Halloween was always my favorite season. Ironically it was during Halloween season 2002 that I met my loving Queen on a blind date at the Haunted Hydro in Fremont. We never left each other's side and were married on Saturday, October 1, 2005. I was a fan of the Toronto Blue Jays since 1977, enjoying every opportunity to go see them play. Jaime and I actually renewed our wedding vows at a Blue Jays game on Saturday, April 6, 2019.
I am survived by my loving wife and Queen, Jaime; daughter, Elizabeth (Jason); sons, Jacob, Memphis, and Nikkolas; a grandson, Jaxon; brother, Jeff (Lee); uncle; couple of aunts; several cousins; and our beloved dogs, MoJo, Miss Daisy, and Ren.
I was preceded in death grandparents, Sarah and Jim Hippely, Dorothy and John Drakulich; and my parents, Cindy and Jim Hippely, Jr.
My funeral was a living funeral at Star Lanes on March 2, 2019. Thank you to everyone that attended that magical evening. Thank you for being a part of my journey. "Live like you were Dying!".
Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling my cremation.
