Joseph W. Cantiberry, 67, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday morning, August 1, 2019 at Stein Hospice Care Center peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and daughter.
Joseph was born on May 12, 1952 in Sandusky, OH to Paul and Gladys (Nolen) Cantiberry.
Joseph graduated from Sandusky High School in 1970. He was an instructor at AT&T Construction for 38 years. Joseph was a member of the AMVETS Post 17, American Legion #83 and the Sandusky Eagles.
Joseph is survived by his wife, Sharon (Edwards) Cantiberry. He is also survived by the lights of his life, daughter, Valerie Castillo and granddaughter, Gabby Castillo; two step-sons, David (Julie Kieser) Beese and Chad (Rose) Beese; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters; Paula A. (Kurt) Baillie of Sandusky, Jennifer (Brad) Cantiberry of Huron and Jeannie (Craig) Wobser of Castalia; brother, Paul A. (Rosie) Cantiberry of Castalia; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives; daughters, Kelly Wilhelm and Krissy (Chad) Clark.
Joseph is preceded in death by his father, Paul.
Private family services will be held. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
