Robert C. Barnes Jr., 62, of Mansfield, passed away Monday afternoon, August 5, 2019 at Stein Hospice Care Center following a lengthy illness.
Robert was born on January 25, 1957 in Sandusky, OH to the late Robert C. and Virginia L. (Parent) Barnes Sr.
Robert graduated from Sandusky High School in 1975 and received his bachelor's degree from Bowling Green State University. He had recently retired from Moto Mart.
Robert is survived by his sister, Kelly (Steven) Herriott of Castalia; brother, Edward (Debra) Barnes of Sandusky; his aunt and uncle, Carol and Robert Schoenfield of Port Clinton and several nieces, nephews and cousins..
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his significant other, Corey Clark.
Private family services will be held. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
