Eugene "Geno" Edward Cromer, 88, residing in Sandusky, passed away Tuesday evening, August 6, 2019 at Ohio Veteran's Home.
Geno was born on June 16, 1931 in Flint, MI to the late William Carl and Mildred (Beckman) Cromer.
Geno was a Veteran of the US Marines serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a certified welder at various businesses in both Ohio and Florida. In his spare time, he enjoyed leather tooling, camping, traveling, playing card, attending country concerts, watching football and spending time with his famly.
Geno survived by his daughters, Deborah Staggs of Orient, OH and Jeannie (Barry) Fleming of Berlin Heights; sons, Eugene R. Cromer of Grafton, OH and David Mitchell of Circleville, OH; seven grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Geno is preceded in death by his sister, Maxine Coble.
Private family services will be held. Burial will be held in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
